Privacy notice

Taiwan Nomad Hub is operated by Taiwan Digital Nomad Association (TDNA). Privacy and support contact: hub@dna.org.tw.

Data and sources

Google sign-in provides an account identifier, name and verified email; we do not request Gmail or Drive access. Listing, report, partner, newsletter and student-discount forms collect the relevant content and contact details, including school and student evidence where needed. Stripe provides subscription status, customer identifiers and necessary email; Stripe handles full card numbers. Public information comes from Meetup and Luma calendars, public pages such as Facebook, and government websites: original organizer names, event titles, dates, public venues and source links.

Purposes and use

We use data for accounts, public discovery, submissions and complaints, membership and student-discount verification, opted-in newsletters and security. Public listings may appear on the site, maps, RSS, calendar feeds and searchable indexes. Organizer names remain in their original form. Account emails, proof documents and reporter details are excluded from public listing data. We do not cross-match organizers across platforms to build personal identity profiles.

Retention, locations and recipients

We retain data only as needed for the selected service, complaints, security records or legal obligations, and delete it or stop using it when the purpose ends or law requires. Student evidence is deleted after review; necessary review records remain. Authorized association staff and service providers including Google, Railway, Zeabur, Stripe and Resend process data for login, hosting, payments and email. Processing may occur in Taiwan and overseas locations used by these providers. Public pages are accessible worldwide, including to search services.

Your choices and rights

Email us to request access, a copy, correction, cessation of collection, processing or use, or deletion; you may also use the opt-out page. We verify identity proportionately and explain the outcome under applicable law. You can withhold data and still browse public information, but features requiring it—such as authenticated submissions, subscriptions, student verification or complaint correspondence—may be unavailable. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

Cookies and external services

Necessary cookies support login and replay protection. A login session lasts up to seven days; logout revokes that session. Google sign-in, Stripe checkout and map tiles connect to their providers. Original event websites apply their own privacy policies. Google registration does not subscribe you to a newsletter or activate paid membership.

Changes and contact

Updated 2026-09-11. Material changes to purposes or services will be reflected here, with notice or consent where required. Public availability does not permit unrestricted use of personal data; we accept correction and opt-out requests.
